KC Environmental, Inc. (KCE) is a woman-owned business established in 1994. Our principal objective is to provide a wide spectrum of environmental support services to agencies of the Federal and State Government, as well as to private industry. We are based on the island of Maui and serve our clients throughout Hawai‘i. In addition to our main office in the Upcountry community of Olinda, we maintain a field office/laboratory in the town of Makawao.
KCE has two business divisions. The Planning Division provides both long-range site development planning and environmental compliance management. These services include environmental impact analyses and Phase I Environmental Baseline Surveys. We also manage compliance and operational planning services for agencies within the State of Hawai‘i. The Measurements Division provides measurement and monitoring support to Federal and State agencies as well as local industry.
Our clients have included the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory and affiliated U.S. DoD agencies, Litton PRC (now Northrup-Grumman), Rocketdyne Technical Services, the University of Hawai‘i Institute for Astronomy, Tesoro Petroleum Corporation, and the Faulkes Telescope Corporation of The United Kingdom. Our most recent clients include the National Science Foundation, the National Solar Observatory, BioEnergy Systems of Hawai‘i, Inc., Aloha Recycling, and Tetra Tech, Inc.
